Dentin Sialophosphoprotein

An extracellular matrix protein that is highly expressed in ODONTOBLASTS. It is cleaved into 2 chains: dentin sialoprotein and dentin phosphoprotein. Mutations in the human DSPP gene, which encodes dentin sialophosphoprotein, can cause DENTINOGENESIS IMPERFECTA.
