Abstract
A secreted 25-kDa glycoprotein member of the Whey-acidic-protein (WAP) four-disulfide core (WFDC) domain family with tissue specific expression in the EPIDIDYMIS. It is also expressed in a limited number of other organs which include female reproductive tract, breast tissue, kidney, regions of the respiratory tract and nasopharynx. The protein is a biomarker for epithelial ovarian cancer.
