An extracellular matrix protein that binds FIBRILLAR COLLAGENS and functions in CELL ADHESION; CELL MIGRATION; and CELL PROLIFERATION. In humans, the TGFBI gene encodes beta IG-H3 protein, and mutations in TGFBI cause CORNEAL DYSTROPHIES, HEREDITARY.
